Steve has over 30 years’ experience in technical sales, account management and business development and has been with NSSLGlobal for over 10 years. As a key member of the team, Steve’s strongest skill is advising on the most cost-effective method available with an emphasis on building a long term strategy and relationship with the customer.
NSSLGlobal’s fully-owned VSAT network consists of 6 teleports, 22 beams and 15 satellites. Utilising the latest DVBS2-RCS2, along with Cisco-based integration units, NSSLGlobal’s service offers the fastest speeds available.
While different customers have the same selection of requirements; coverage, value added services, support, bandwidth speeds, price, etc., the priority of these needs changes greatly from customer to customer, and this means NSSLGlobal creates a solution based around the clients specific need.
Broad-IP is the land based VSAT network delivered by NSSLGlobal. Broad-IP offers Standard IP data, internet services and streaming throughput to clients of speeds up to 8Mbps, within a choice of dedicated or contended (shared) airtime packages. Throughput is further enhanced by built-in Performance Enhancing Proxy (PEP) providing TCP Acceleration within the network, which improves the throughput of TCP connections in a long latency environment and enhances the user experience.
Low cost, high quality “Premium Voice” services are provided by maintaining phone line allocated bandwidth to a minimum of 32 kbps, irrespective of the demand by other on-board bandwidth users.
The NSSLGlobal Ku-Band network covers all the main continents, including numerous beams across Africa. These beams are all fully operated by NSSLGlobal.

NSSLGlobal offer established teams of advisors and technicians to handle first and second line enquiries through the Support Desks.
All enquiries are monitored and controlled through the life span to ensure your needs are met. Where the Support Desks are unable to handle the call entirely, it will be escalated to a third level of technical support to ensure the time to respond to your enquiry is kept to a minimum.
Spares & Repairs
NSSLGlobal have access to large stock of hardware and spares at various Regional Service Centres to respond quickly to requests. An advance replacement service against nominated equipment is provided to our key customers to avoid delays in repair time.
In Country Support
Site surveys, installation and commissioning of equipment, trouble shooting, annual maintenance programmes, training, and project based support are all offered by our team of highly skilled engineers. We also have in country engineers in locations around the globe and can arrange for in country installations, site surveys and ongoing support and maintenance.
