SatLink

The SatLink system is an industry pioneering DVB-RCS2 product line in both sales and technology supporting DVB-S2 TDM forward links and ACM on all carriers (both TDM and TDMA).

The SatLink family of VSATs and Hubs is perfect for rugged offshore environments and remote areas worldwide. With high availability, impressive throughput, and round-the-clock global technical support, the SatLink system ensures secure IP networking for voice, data, corporate communication, and large file transfers. It caters to the specific needs of the offshore industry, ISPs, private intranets, and industry-specific networks.

The versatile SatLink system offers mobile, transportable, and stationary options, making it suitable for various connectivity requirements. It can connect support vessels, submersibles, barges, oil rigs, offshore platforms, and even inland operations on a single core network. The product line includes a range of broadband VSAT modems and turnkey satellite hub systems, enabling cost-effective enterprise networks and large carrier networks.

Collaborating closely with the European Space Agency, we spearheaded this groundbreaking technology and successfully deployed and maintained numerous highly secure SatLink networks for NATO countries. This has been done while strictly adhering to NATO’s rigorous requirements, such as the Standardisation Agreements (STANAG). Currently, our footprint spans over 5,000 VSATs across Europe.

Snap.TV has distribution rights for content from Paramount, Universal and DreamWorks studios, as well as several other independent studios. 24 hours a day your crew can enjoy a variety of films, from the latest Hollywood blockbusters and current hits to Hollywood classics from previous years. Our packages have something for everyone! We offer a great range of genres such as action, adventure, comedy, crime, science fiction and horror and more.

  • Movie packages are available in various bundles.
  • The library is updated each month with a number of new films, depending on the size of the package – the oldest films will be deleted.

Snap.TV delivers Hollywood films in six languages, English, French, German, Spanish, Italian and Russian. A number of titles are also available with Dutch and Arabic subtitles.

Snap.TV has agreements to distribute films worldwide, with the exception of the following countries: United States, Canada, Afghanistan, Iran, North Korea, Somalia and Syria.

Our SOMA agreement is developed to assist our channel partners and end customers in ensuring uninterrupted operation/high availability of Snap.TV systems during their lifetime. The Snap.TV SOMA covers three different service levels to provide as much flexibility as possible to channel partners and end customers, with premium, exclusive and also a customised hardware warranty option.

Data speeds and voice quality unaffected by content downloads

CrewVision is NSSLGlobal’s ship entertainment service offering a wide variety of viewing content and utilises a dedicated multi-broadcast channel over our VSAT network. This unique feature of NSSLGlobal’s VSAT IP@SEA service ensures that the vessels data speeds or voice quality are unaffected by content downloads and also require no additional hardware. Furthermore, content is continually refreshed using NSSLGlobal’s network capacity, not the vessel’s, so there is no impact on the user experience. Delivered via an easy-to-use GUI, this includes television, recording (nPVR—eliminates need for hard drive in cabin equipment), video on demand and radio.
