SAILOR 250 FleetBroadband

The SAILOR 250 is a FleetBroadband satellite communication system suitable as either a primary satcoms system or as a back-up in conjunction with our VSAT IP@SEA service, providing background IP data throughput speeds of up to 284 kbps.

Antenna and Below Deck Equipment (BDE)

The SAILOR 250 has a fully stabilised 3-axis antenna with rate sensors for improved performance and fast intelligent satellite tracking, all housed within a 329.2 mm tall x 275.6 mm diameter dome enclosure. It is connected to the SAILOR 250 below deck equipment via a single coaxial cable which is supplied as 25 m twin screened RG214U, within the standard supply of the system. Forward and return broadband services are provided by the SAILOR 250 at a rate up to 284 kbps Standard IP, up to 128 kbps for streaming, a 64kbps and 56 kbps ISDN line to support more ageing data communication applications.
