SOS Button
One of the unique features on the Iridium Extreme® handset is the SOS button, this is located on top of the handset under a protective cover. When the user presses the button it will send out a distress message to a designated contact and share your GPS coordinates. This handset is Satellite Emergency Notification Device (SEND) compliant and will assist in creating a two-way connection in an emergency response situation.

Military Spec
The Iridium Extreme® is currently the only satellite phone to meet the MIL-STD 810F certification, combined with the IP65 offered ensures that the device can withstand the toughest of environments and keep the user in contact all the time.

GPS Tracking
One of the only satellite phones to offer fully integrated services of customisable GPS, online tracking and programmable emergency notifications. The handheld can be tracked in third party tracking software and offers reliable tracking with truly global coverage.
