BGAN 9502 M2M

The Hughes 9502 terminal operates on the BGAN M2M service, which together provides the world’s most cost effective machine-to-machine satellite terminal with exceptionally low power consumption. This terminal will deliver affordable, global, end-to-end IP data connectivity which will enable remote monitoring in power challenged locations.

With the 10 m RF cabling this will enable the user to position the antenna away from the terminal in complex installations, this also allows the terminal to be stationed in a secure location. The exceptionally low power consumption of the 9502 makes it possible to provide end-to-end IP connectivity to sites that are off the grid. In standby mode the unit consumes less than 1w and less than 20w when transmitting data.

No charge for over the air software upgrades
While future firmware releases will be uncommon, there will be no charge for over-the-air (OTA) upgrades on this unit which will save you time and money.

Remote control via SMS
The terminal supports a remote management platform that enables you to control the terminal via SMS, this includes configuration, debugging and access to web interface.
