A lightweight, capable and global ocean ranging solution
The Thales VesseLINK 200 provides a reliable, robust solution, with truly global coverage from pole to pole via the Iridium NEXT LEO constellation. Covering all ocean regions, the combination of the Iridium constellation and NSSLGlobal network infrastructure ensures the customer will experience the best possible voice and data service. A single cable solution provides both power and communication between the antenna and compact above decks unit. The supplied single cable is ideal for mounting, whilst the
unit can accommodate up to 50m of connection cable, enabling it be installed in a range of positions on the vessel whilst still having the best view of the sky.
Utilising Iridium Certus, the terminal delivers up to 176kbps upload and download connection speed. Use of the inbuilt 3 independent voice lines is also enhanced by the low latency Certus connection, providing a rapid response for critical data whenever it is required.
NSSLGlobal has also fully integrated the Iridium Certus® service into its next gen customer INSIGHT Portal for the complete management of the Certus service.

Compact, robust platform
Smaller than the 700 variants, the 200 brings all of the reliability and networking capability of the larger model but utilises a smaller data pipe through the optimised antenna.
Best utilised as a primary bearer for smaller vessels, the system has a small footprint, allowing for mounting where larger antennas would struggle. The available bandwidth lends itself to optimised email traffic or essential communications. The VesselLINK 200 also features a configurable WAN port, allowing an external bearer such as an LTE modem to be used as the main communications path when available. The option to use different WAN connections with seamless transfer to Satellite enables the VesseLINK to provides higher throughput speeds when in coastal regions via 4G, as well as ocean going use with its truly global satellite coverage.
