With over 50 years’ experience we have built a deep understanding of customer needs and the engineering skills required to meet them. Over 40% of our company are highly specialised engineers, many of whom come from an armed forces background, who know what it takes to deliver bespoke solutions that meet very specific requirements.

We are where our customers need us to be. With our fully owned and operational network of five teleports, our 12 offices across the globe and regionally based field service and engineering teams, our customers benefit from hands-on support wherever they are.


Our customers are assured that we will always provide the best solution, regardless of the manufacturer or supplier. We’re brand agnostic and not tied to a particular provider.


We offer bespoke maintenance contracts to service not only our equipment, but other navigational and communication equipment too, offering a convenient single point of contact for our customers. Our maintenance contracts go one step further by including technical refreshment provisions to ensure our customers stay at the leading edge of technology no matter how the landscape may change in the future.


We follow best practice security management processes and ensure our governance and technical controls are certified to the following ISO standards, to keep you secure in an increasingly digitalised world:

We are ISO 9001 certified, with two 24/7/365 customer service centres and a technical support/Network Operations Centre (NOC), ensuring the right support is available whenever and wherever you need it.

Our leadership team

Sally-Anne joined NSSLGlobal in 2006 as Commercial Director, before taking on the role of Managing Director in 2013 and most recently Group CEO. With previous roles at BT Group, Sally-Anne has over 25 years’ experience in the global satellite and communications industry.

In her role as Group CEO, Sally-Anne is spearheading the company’s drive towards long-term growth and value creation for customers, employees and shareholders. Outside of work, Sally-Anne is a keen beekeeper and honey producer. She also keeps chickens and cats.

Nikolaj has spent his entire career in the satellite and radio communications industry, starting at Thrane & Thrane (now Cobham Satcom) in 1999 and worked his way up to Group Marketing and Communications Director. In 2007 he left the company through an acquisition of The ESL Group of companies, where he then held the position of co-CEO and COO until 2014 when ESL merged with NSSLGlobal. Hence, Nikolaj in reality has been with NSSLGlobal since 2007.

Nikolaj, Group Deputy CEO and COO, joined NSSLGlobal as Group Commercial and Marketing Director, and is now responsible for ensuring group-wide operational cohesion and integration, with a focus on supporting NSSLGlobal's existing and new business growth, overseeing our companies in Germany, Norway, Denmark, Sweden, Poland and Israel.

Nikolaj is married and has two children and a dog. In his spare time, he enjoys riding his bike, especially in the mountains in Mallorca.

Sara has worked in the finance team at NSSLGlobal for over 20 years. As CFO she is responsible for managing the company’s P&L and overseeing accounts, ensuring accuracy and efficiency of financial processes and reporting.

Prior to joining NSSLGlobal Sara worked at British Gas where she completed her ACCA qualification. Outside of work, Sara like to spend time with her husband and two cats.

Staffan brings over two decades of industry experience to his role as CTO, having held various senior R&D and business positions within the wireless and high-tech industries. His knowledge, dedication and customer focus are invaluable in driving forward NSSLGlobal’s business goals.

Working alongside the rest of the leadership team, Staffan will be rolling out the company’s technology roadmap and bolstering its R&D division - helping to strengthen NSSLGlobal’s reputation as an engineering powerhouse.
