Main Purpose of Job:

Event management
  • Project management of all events, exhibitions, roadshows, conferences, internal/external events meeting all deadlines for the NSSLGlobal group
  • To work within the team members across all marketing activities to organise the events
  • Ability to travel to manage events within the UK and internationally when required
  • Work closely with internal stakeholders to plan, hold meetings, design, book, manage the budget, equipment, stands, organise all logistics and promotions for events
  • Ensuring regular event updates and communications are shared with stakeholders
  • Coordinating the full marketing mix to promote events
  • To be responsible for ensuring all event processes and procedures, including health and safety, insurance, are followed with all applicable documents updated prior to and after the event
  • Assist with maintaining the events budget
  • To remain within budget and deliver budgetary updates post each event
  • Keep the events database, forms and feedback up to date and provide monthly reporting
  • Managing and overseeing events on the day of, including problem-solving, welcoming guests, directing event set-up, safety, communicating with staff, and organising vendors, whether on site or remotely
Marketing
  • Assist when required with managing and updating collateral, maintaining stock levels, designing and ordering printing, and ensuring electronic literature is also kept up to date on the company’s intranet/website. Distributing stock across the Group
  • Assist the Marketing and Communications Manager when required in the management – work with supplier(s) to source, brand and distribute corporate gifting within specified budget and on time, to meet the requirements of Management, Sales and for specific events and campaigns
  • Where required to update the company intranet, company website and other electronic media as required ensuring it is kept up to date with the latest events, products and services
  • To assist when required the Marketing and Communications Manager, Commercial and Marketing Director and Head of Product and Airtime help produce marketing and sales collateral (brochures, data sheets etc) for new products, services, sales campaigns and special promotions in line with our Brand Guidelines
  • To assist in the creation of any presentation requirements for sales/P&M team as required
  • Any others jobs assigned by the Marketing and Communications Manager, Commercial and Marketing Director.

Experience/Skills/Qualifications:

  • To be able to hit the ground running
  • Proven experience in working in marketing
  • Proven experience in event planning or event coordination in a corporate environment/or creative industry
  • Track record of organising creative, successful events
  • Ability to work as part of a fast-paced team
  • Ability to meet deadlines
  • Excellent organisational skills (with attention to detail), communication, negotiation, and
    multitasking skills
  • Strong written and verbal communications skills
  • Must be proactive and ability to manage own time effectively with good telephone manner
    Experience with graphics packages that include Photoshop and InDesign/Canva, not essential but desired.
    Willingness and ability to learn quickly
  • Intermediate level or above with Word/PowerPoint/Excel
    Flexible, customer focused and self-motivated and team player
  • Ability to be able to achieve SC security clearance.
